Summer is finally here and the weeds are growing quickly! Along with all the herbs. This year we have made the difficult decision to reduce the size herb garden (but not the number of herbs). Trying to garden such a large area which is full of twitch (couch grass) -and organically has been very back breaking. Stuart and I do all the gardening ourselves with some input from Wwoofers when we have them. (Wwoofers = willing workers on organic farms). 

The labyrinth is looking good and ready for people to walk. The North and South Magazine visited us earlier in the year and did a short piece on the labyrinth and us, which is in the August Issue. 

Our good friend Shun Oishi, the Japanese sheep and llama shearer came to visit us last week along with a television crew from Ch 6's Animal Academy! Shun is on target to become a Golden Shears winner in the near future. He is passionate about shearing. We were honoured to have our llamas feature for the piece they were filming. Coming to your tv screen sometime next February.
